About Jamie Clapham

Jamie Clapham, an award winner and founder of Clapham Landscape Architecture, grew up in his family nursery with a mother – a landscape designer. It was there that his passion, dedication and continual exploration of garden design worldwide was born.

For the past 20 years Jamie has brought all of this together to  build a team of dedicated specialists, working under his expert guidance to create gardens of the highest standard.

Jamie’s primary aim for Clapham Landscape Architecture is to provide discerning garden owners with complete design solutions incorporating design, construction, management, and maintenance.

Outdoor Room Completed

Clapham landscapes recently completed this stunning indoor outdoor living area in Elwood, Melbourne. The project featured an outdoor room overlooking a stunning in ground pool and replaced an existing bland outdoor space which the new owners wanted to reinvigorate to create a real sense of occasion and connection with the modern house design. Basement ‘Rooftop’ Garden

Clapham Landscapes undertook an interesting flip on your typical ‘Roof Top’ Garden. This project was in fact a ‘rooftop’ over a ‘basement’ construction at a Toorak residence. A full Perennial Garden was established on top of the basement to create an expansive and opulent garden setting. Full drainage and load bearing considerations were taken into account during the design and planning stage. Clapham Landscape Architecture attended the SPASA Pool & Spa Expo + Outdoor Living held from 31 Jan - 2 Feb at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Bamboo Blitz

We just finished a major backyard blitz in one week. Our clients were putting their house on the market and wished to maximise the potential of the sale. One major downfall of the property was the three story apartment block looking down over the back fence into the garden.
